Job Description

Overview We are seeking a pediatric speech language pathologist to join our team at Super Speech Therapy! The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatrics. This role involves providing speech therapy services to children and adolescents, assessing their skills and areas of need, and developing individualized treatment plans to enhance their communication skills. At Super Speech Therapy, we provide parent support and recommendations for best practice and generalization of skills. We want our families to feel supported and part of the team. We're looking for someone who values neuroaffirming therapy and loves to play and have fun in therapy. There is flexible scheduling with this position with starting in summer (if desired) or August -Tuesday/Thursday preferred with option add hours on Mondays and/or Wednesdays! Come work in a fun, supportive, energetic environment! Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide direct speech therapy services to children with a variety of communication disorders and all ages. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform therapy techniques and interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate families on communication strategies and resources for continued support. Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Kansas Licensure in Speech Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations Strong understanding of medical terminology related to speech therapy. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to speech and language development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
