Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support young learners in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Ottawa, KS, focusing on students primarily in 1st and 2nd grade. The role involves on-site work with a preferred schedule of three days per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially 1st and 2nd graders Ability to deliver services on-site in a school environment Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
