Speech Language Pathologist in Topeka, KS Soliant - 3.9 Topeka, KS Job Details Full-time | Contract Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners' communication development for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on elementary-aged students, with some Pre-K support, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact every day. You'll work on-site, providing both individual and group speech-language therapy services to a dynamic caseload of approximately 50-60 students. As a valued member of student services, you will collaborate within an educational team to support IEP goals, perform assessments, and document progress. Experience in educational settings, particularly with Medicaid billing and full participation in the IEP process, is highly valued as you help nurture students' communication skills in the classroom environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility for Kansas licensure Prior experience delivering speech services in a school environment Proficiency with Medicaid billing and familiarity with the IEP process Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively on-site with elementary and pre-k populations
Primary Responsibilities:
