Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a part-time contract. Collaborate with a dedicated Early Interventionist Team to help children ages 3-4 develop their communication skills in a dynamic educational environment. This position is onsite and offers consistent hours throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana SLP License required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working as an SLP in a school-based setting is highly desirable Expertise in early intervention, particularly with preschool-aged children Strong communication and organizational skills, working collaboratively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for children aged 3-4, helping to identify needs and strengths Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals Work closely with the Early Interventionist Team to support developmental milestones Provide direct therapy, as well as consultative services to staff and families Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and progress Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure coordinated support for each child Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
Role Details:
