Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where you can support students' communication growth and make a real difference every day. This contract role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about working in school settings. Spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, you'll help preschoolers and high schoolers reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Background or experience in school-based SLP strongly preferred Comfort and flexibility traveling between educational sites Experience serving both preschool and high school age groups is a plus Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech/language therapy to preschool students (location to be determined) Provide SLP services to students at a high school Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families Track students' progress and provide regular documentation Assist with IEP meetings and required paperwork Travel between assigned school sites as needed Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
