~8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week A school district near Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. This position will support students across an elementary caseload while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and special education professionals. Candidates interested in a continuing school-based opportunity are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and therapy services Develop individualized treatment plans and support IEP implementation Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff regarding student progress Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and student planning sessions
Qualifications:
Active Louisiana Department of Education SLP certification required Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Experience:
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Education:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required #p34
