Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at two school sites in Baton Rouge, LA. This contract position offers 32 to 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services with a focus on compensatory education minutes at both campuses. The role involves collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development and progress within the school setting.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Eligible or licensed with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong understanding of educational therapy requirements and compensatory education services Ability to manage services across multiple school sites effectively
