Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in a vibrant educational environment. This is a contract position running from June 8th through July 21st, with a schedule designed to promote work-life balance: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bring your expertise to a setting where your skills will truly make a difference in children's lives over the summer session.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Hold or be eligible for appropriate state licensure as an SLP Previous experience delivering speech-language services in school settings Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Dedication to providing inclusive, high-quality support to diverse learners As a valued SLP for this summer assignment, your responsibilities will include: Conducting screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for PK-12 students Developing and implementing IEP goals tailored to student needs Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Offering guidance to educators and families regarding communication strategies Keeping thorough, timely records and documentation for all services rendered Engaging students in interactive, meaningful therapy activities This summer contract offers an enriching setting and the chance to make a meaningful impact during an accelerated timeframe.
