Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity designed for Speech-Language Pathologists certified with their CCCs. This full-time position offers the chance to provide essential speech-language services during the 2026-2027 academic year, making a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys. Located onsite, you'll play an active role in supporting students while collaborating with educators and families in a vibrant school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Valid Louisiana SLP License Louisiana Teaching Certificate required School-based experience or enthusiasm for working with K-12 students Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as specified in IEPs Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders Participate in IEP meetings, parent collaborations, and interdisciplinary team activities Keep detailed session notes and progress reports in accordance with school and state regulations Develop and adapt treatment plans to meet each student's unique needs Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment onsite
