Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive difference this fall in the lives of young students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist! This rewarding contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting student communication and language development. You'll be stepping in to provide essential services during a maternity leave from mid-September through late November, working full-time in a dynamic educational environment. This role is based onsite, providing direct support to elementary-aged children with a manageable caseload of 50-60 students. Those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply, making this an excellent growth and learning opportunity for newer SLPs as well.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CF) Previous experience in a school setting is a plus Strong collaboration and communication skills A genuine commitment to helping children succeed
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy to students in a one-on-one or small group setting Track progress and maintain up-to-date documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team This is an excellent chance to work with a supportive staff while gaining invaluable school-based experience.
