Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic team supporting PreK students ages 3-5? A full-time contract assignment is available for a speech-language pathologist (SLP) with their CCC. This onsite position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to young learners across several locations. Requirements for
Success:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current state licensure for speech therapy in Louisiana (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally with preschool/preK populations Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation Excellent communication and organization skills Ability to travel between sites as part of an itinerant model
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to PreK students, ages 3-5, following individualized education plans Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure coordinated student support Maintain thorough and timely documentation of interventions and outcomes Travel to multiple assigned locations as part of an itinerant caseload Provide consultative services and training for teachers and parents as necessary Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and positive relationships within each school environment
