Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ready to make a meaningful impact in education while advancing your Speech-Language Pathology career? This full-time, contract opportunity places you on-site with a school district in the New Orleans area for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work alongside dedicated educators and help students reach their communication goals in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will be scheduled Monday through Friday during regular school hours (35 hours per week), observing the school calendar and enjoying evenings and weekends free.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Eligibility for, or possession of, active state licensure in Louisiana ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with school-aged children highly desired A track record of collaboration, flexibility, and positive communication skillsCore Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students according to IEPs Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized therapy plans Maintain progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings Adapt therapy techniques to diverse populations and learning needs Foster a supportive, encouraging environment for students' growthAdditional Information:
