Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting young learners ages 3-5 with PreK caseloads. This full-time, onsite position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering 37.5 hours per week. You'll travel to various locations within the district, making a significant difference in the lives of early childhood students.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC certification Prior experience in school settings with PreK or early childhood populations Ability to work effectively as an itinerant therapist across multiple sites Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to in-person service delivery (no virtual/remote options)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support Maintain meticulous records in compliance with district standards and timelines Provide direct therapy and interventions consistent with IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reporting
