Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a difference in a school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This onsite contract role spans from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, providing full-time hours and the chance to support students' communication and learning needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current, active Louisiana SLP license Louisiana Teaching Certificate Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptability as specific caseload and assignment details will be available in
July Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in compliance with IEP mandates Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with communication challenges Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth Adjust strategies and interventions based on student needs and performance data What to
