Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity invites compassionate professionals who excel in pediatric speech therapy and are passionate about making a difference in educational settings. Your expertise will help meet the diverse communication needs of children, fostering growth and learning in a collaborative school environment. Ideal candidates have experience in schools, healthcare settings, or pediatric therapy and are comfortable with both direct therapy and consultation for students with varying needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Prior experience with pediatric or school-aged populations highly valued Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication goals Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in group or one-on-one settings Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication needs in the classroom Maintain thorough records and progress reports according to school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a member of the collaborative support team This contract assignment offers a supportive and engaging atmosphere where your expertise is valued and your impact is meaningful.
