Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting young learners as part of an Early Interventionist Team. This onsite, part-time role allows you to make a genuine difference in the lives of preschool-aged children (ages 3-4) through the upcoming school year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Holds a current Louisiana SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings, especially with early intervention or preschool-aged children, is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted interventions onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to children ages 3-4 in a school-based setting Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support each child's individual education plan Complete evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district guidelines Foster a nurturing and communicative environment that encourages student growth and engagement
