Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Enhance your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) by working with students in an engaging onsite setting. Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Louisiana Possess a valid Louisiana teaching certificate Certification as a CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Prior experience working in a school environment is highly desirable Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Committed to fostering positive outcomes for students
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment programs Monitor student progress and communicate updates to teachers, families, and other school professionals Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant state and federal guidelines Collaborate closely with special education teams to support school-wide initiatives Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning This onsite position offers the opportunity to build relationships within a supportive school community and to gain experience with a diverse student population. The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, with a steady weekly schedule totaling 37.5 hours.
