Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact working with children as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting just outside Boston, MA! Whether you specialize in pediatrics, have experience supporting elementary or preschool students, or are enthusiastic about teletherapy and school-aged interventions, this contract role offers variety and the chance to help students communicate and thrive. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time schedules, with one position dedicated to serving elementary students and another focused on preschoolers for the current school year. Candidates from out of the area are encouraged to apply—eligible travelers can receive tax-free stipends to support your assignment.
What You'll Bring:
Current MA SLP license (CCC or CFY considered) Proven background in pediatric or K-12 settings (school-based SLP experience preferred) Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus Collaborative spirit for working alongside educators and families Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams Maintain accurate records and contribute to student progress reports Communicate proactively with families, teachers, and school staff Adapt services for in-person or virtual delivery as needed
