Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer opportunity supporting students' communication growth! A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is sought for an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment. Serve a diverse population of students and help bridge the gap on critical speech and language skills during a condensed, high-impact program. Enjoy a predictable schedule, working Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, from July 6 to August 6. This short-term role offers a chance to focus on direct interventions and closely collaborate with educators and families in a school-based setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for providing services in schools Previous experience in a K-12 school environment is preferred Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with students of various backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy and group sessions consistent with IEP goals Complete timely documentation and progress notes for each student Collaborate with teaching staff and related service providers to ensure continuity of care Communicate effectively with families and faculty regarding student progress Support inclusive practices and actively participate in team meetings as needed
