Job Description

The Level II Clinician (LIIC) is a clinical and professional leader in the field. The clinician advances evidence based practices and mentors others to achieve and grow in the role of a clinical professional.

Reporting directly to their Supervisor, the Level II Clinician (LIIC) has demonstrated exemplary clinical care, documentation, quality and patient satisfaction as an Emerson Home Care Clinician. The LIIC will assist Supervisors with staff development, for the purpose of improving the quality of care across a multi-disciplinary team. The LIIC assists in the evaluation of clinical results for outcomes, quality and patient satisfaction. LIIC works within their scope of practice and is a recognized peer clinical leader. Education Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology program required. Experience Greater than three years' previous experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist. Working at Emerson Hospital for greater than 2 years. Demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification BLS required within 4 months from hire. Current license to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech pathology in Massachusetts required. Skills Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen. Problem-solving skills. Must execute sound judgment all duties. Courteous and professional manner when dealing with people in person and on the phone. Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs. Committed to Service Excellence and customer satisfaction. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information. Strong leadership, training, and mentorship abilities required.
