Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Fitchburg, MA, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This elementary school position offers a full-time, 35-hour workweek, ideal for SLPs seeking either their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). As part of a collaborative special education team, your expertise will support students' communication needs and help them succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility) SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status accepted—new graduates encouraged to apply Experience or strong interest in elementary-aged student populations Familiarity with IEP planning, progress documentation, and collaborative service delivery Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication Support and consult with teachers and classroom teams to generalize communication strategies
