Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support young learners in a Pre-K setting. Providing specialized speech and language services within community-based educational environments, the role focuses on early intervention and fostering communication skills in children aged 3 to 5 years.

Moody Pre-K and Community Sites, Lawrence, MA Grade Level:
Pre-Kindergarten Caseload:
10-15 students
Hours:
15 hours per week
Contract Position Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for Pre-K students Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication development Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support
Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings Strong knowledge of early communication development and intervention strategies Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about early childhood communication development and looking to make a significant impact within a supportive educational environment. Flexible scheduling allows for focused, quality care within 15 hours per week.
