Speech Language Pathologist in Lawrence, MA ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Lawrence, MA Job Details Full-time | Contract $37.13 - $67.13 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work across K-12th grade, depending on your experience and expertise as an SLP-CCC. What We're Looking For:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC certification required Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Experience with K-12 students (your caseload may vary by background) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to a diverse K-12 caseload Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals Support students from multilingual backgrounds, utilizing bilingual skills where possible Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams Adapt assessment and intervention strategies for cultural and linguistic diversity This is more than a job—it's a chance to empower multilingual students and make a lasting difference in their lives.
