Speech-Language Pathologist - Grant Funded (2026-2027) Minuteman High School - 4.2 Lexington, MA Job Details Full-time $68,494 - $128,195 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Teacher collaboration Multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology Special education law School legal knowledge Speech-Language Pathology License Disability rights laws Full Job Description Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking a dedicated, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) starting in the 20262027 school year who is also committed to supporting inclusive education for students with disabilities. This unique, dual-role position combines direct speech-language therapy with collaborative special education inclusion support, offering an opportunity for professional growth and broad student impact. (appointment reliant on grant funding)
Major Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language and communication services to students on IEPs. Deliver direct instruction in both articulation and social pragmatics. Run small groups as needed. Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings. Support inclusive classroom settings by working directly with students and general education teachers. Assist with instructional accommodations, curriculum modifications, and differentiation. Write and manage IEPs in collaboration with families and staff; ensure compliance with timelines. Serve as a liaison between special education and general education teams. Monitor student progress, using a variety of assessments and data-informed strategies. Foster an inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive learning environment. Maintain professional competence through ongoing development and reflective practice. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure and/or DESE licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Willingness to earn a Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification. Have strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures. Demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Be committed to equity, inclusion, and continuous professional growth.
Additional Requirements:
This position includes but is not limited to: walking around the school, observing students while they work in their program areas, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.

Full-Time, School Calendar.

Compensation:
Salary range is $68,494.00 - $128,195.00, prorated to date of hire. Eligible for health, dental, and retirement benefits.
