August 31, 2026 Overview Amergis is eeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide high-quality speech and language services to students across the district. This role is ideal for a clinician who values collaboration, student-centered care, and inclusive educational practices. Depending on preference and availability, the SLP may be assigned to a single school or serve as a floating clinician across multiple buildings . Caseloads will be determined based on student enrollment and staffing needs. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative speech and language services aligned with IEP goals Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decisions Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and evaluation reports Support students in both general and special education settings Provide communication strategies and resources to classroom staff Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress Assist with district initiatives related to communication, literacy, and inclusion Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Massachusetts DESE license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
ASHA CCC-SLP

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
