We're looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in Pittsfield, MA on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This is a full-time weekday position (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM).
Pay is:
Travel $2,383/36 hours or Local $2,347/36 hours. What you'll be doing: Conduct thorough assessments for speech, language, communication, and swallowing concerns. Interpret clinical and diagnostic findings to determine diagnoses and severity. Develop individualized treatment plans that match each patient's goals and needs. Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression. Evaluate and treat dysphagia; teach safe swallowing techniques. Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate. Teach patients and families practical strategies and home exercises to reinforce progress. Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing progress. Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate, timely patient records including assessments, plans, and progress notes. Help patients generalize improved communication skills to everyday settings—school, work, and home. Keep current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
