Job Description

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist and use your skills where they are needed most. You will help patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while working in a skilled nursing facility in Plymouth, MA. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent Level II experience; new graduates are acceptable only if Level II experience is documented and not limited to Level I observation. Active MA state license required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of SLP clinical experience; experience in long term care or rehab is required. Adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice. Ability to supervise and support CFY clinicians or SLP students as needed. Accurate documentation skills, including electronic documentation and treatment minute reporting per regulatory requirements. BLS certification may be required by the facility. Preferred Qualifications Experience with standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions for communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Previous experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care settings beyond the minimum requirement. Active ASHA membership.
Assignment Details Shift:
8 hour days, 35 GWW.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide Effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers. Participate in required meetings, trainings, and documentation activities. Communicate patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Maintain active licensure and professional credentials. Location Highlights Plymouth, MA offers a mix of coastal and historic attractions.
