This short-term contract opportunity focuses on providing essential ESY (Extended School Year) services from July 6th through August 6th. The schedule is tailored to offer an excellent work-life balance, with workdays Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm—perfect for those seeking meaningful employment with flexible hours. What you'll bring: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working in a school environment or with school-aged children Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting A glimpse at your responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to support student progress Accurately document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and recommendations Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student participation and growth Imagine spending summer mornings helping students find their voice in a friendly, resourceful environment—leaving your afternoons free for relaxation or other pursuits.
