Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

~35 hours/week About the Role Join Sunbelt Staffing as a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Somerville Public Schools. In this role, you'll support K-8 students by helping them develop communication skills essential for academic success and social participation. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment. Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify speech and language needs Develop measurable, student-centered goals aligned with IEPs Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and progress updates Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across a K-8 caseload Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Track progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines

Travel time between schools is paid (mileage reimbursement to be confirmed if applicable)
Setting:
School-based Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active MA SLP license (or eligibility) ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered depending on support available) Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Why Join This Opportunity?
