Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace an enriching contract opportunity supporting students' communication and language development in a dynamic school setting close to the Annapolis area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play an important role in helping children strengthen their communication skills and flourish academically and socially. Ideal candidates demonstrate expertise in school-based speech-language pathology and bring compassion, creativity, and adaptability to their daily work. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow educators to develop meaningful interventions tailored to each student's needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state SLP licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or current CFY status Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluate students' speech and language abilities Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings Foster a supportive, positive learning environment for all students under your care This contract assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working alongside a dedicated school community in a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
