Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language therapy services to K-12 students for an Extended School Year (ESY) program. Located near Brandywine and Prince Frederick, MD, this contract position offers a unique chance to make a lasting impact on students' communication and academic growth during the summer. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering interventions and collaborating with school teams to ensure every child's needs are met. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state license to practice in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain Experience with school-aged children, K-12, strongly preferred Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals Collaborate with educators and families to support language development and communication skills Complete session documentation, progress notes, and required ESY paperwork Conduct assessments and participate in team meetings as needed Maintain a professional, supportive environment for diverse learners
Position Details:
20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8am-12pm Service dates: June 29th through July 30th Students range from kindergarten to 12th grade Locations in and around Prince Frederick, MD (serving surrounding communities) Experience a summer filled with professional respect, enriching interactions, and the chance to influence student success.
