Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student growth in a dynamic school environment near Centreville, MD. Play an integral part in fostering communication and learning as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, providing both on-site and teletherapy services to diverse learners. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience delivering services within school settings Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to tailor interventions for students from various backgrounds and with diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy, both in-person and through teletherapy, adapting strategies to maximize student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Document sessions, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultative support and resources for classroom teachers and staff Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in SLP and educational therapy
