Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, working onsite and making a direct impact on students' communication skills. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week from 7-7:30am until 2:30-3pm, your expertise will support students throughout the school year, with the position extending through the 2026/27 academic calendar. The focus of this assignment revolves around collaborative care and individualized student success, creating an engaging and rewarding experience every day.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Knowledge or experience with IEP development and progress monitoring Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills Ability to work onsite; teletherapy not available for this role Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized therapeutic programs for students with speech and language needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and regular screenings of students Guide and assist teachers in noticing and referring suspected speech and language challenges Collaborate with staff to implement classroom modifications and support Maintain detailed records and comply with all special education requirements Communicate with families, providing support and information as needed Create and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with regulations Offer inservice education and serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff Carry out additional tasks as assigned Take the next step in your professional journey and join a supportive educational environment where your skills change lives. to shape positive outcomes for students throughout the school year and beyond!
