Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing essential speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility in Maryland) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Proficiency with evaluation, treatment, and documentation protocols Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's strengths and needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on student progress and appropriate goals Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to create a nurturing environment for student success Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations Provide consultative support to teachers and contribute strategies for classroom inclusion and engagement As a valued member of our network of contract professionals, you will enjoy a supportive and responsive team, opportunities for professional growth, and variety in your daily work setting.
