Job Description
School Speech Language Pathologist Contract position for 36 weeks in Elkton, Maryland. Provide therapy for PK3-12 students, conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services for PK 3-12 students within a school-based caseload (55 contacts per week). Conduct speech/language evaluations and contribute to eligibility/IEP documentation. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for student speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and integrate therapy goals. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet all school-based compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or Communication Sciences and Disorders) or equivalent. ASHA certification or eligibility. MD SLP license. Minimum 1 year experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Ability to conduct speech-language assessments and develop treatment plans. Ability to provide individualized therapy for school-age students. Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and school staff. Willingness to perform background checks and comply with school/district requirements. Availability for days shift schedule with caseload averaging 55 contacts per week.

Experience working with school-age students and IEP/education support.
