Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support for students in a K-12 school setting located in Hyattsville, MD. This role focuses on addressing diverse speech, language, and communication challenges, enabling students to achieve academic success and enhanced social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student's unique requirements. Deliver direct therapy sessions as well as consultative services to support student progress. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP teams to ensure consistent communication and intervention strategies.Qualifications and Experience:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required. Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification or eligibility to obtain certification is mandatory. Experience working in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not required.Position Details:
