Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school district near Leonardtown, MD! Talented Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide exceptional services for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Two exciting roles are open:
one focusing on Early Intervention (11-month schedule), and another serving K-12 students. Both start August 10, 2026, and run through June 17, 2027, with full-time hours during the school schedule.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Maryland SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred Experience working in school settings, especially Early Intervention and/or K-12 Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in Early Intervention or K-12 settings Complete speech/language assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Provide therapy individually and in small groups, adapting strategies to student needs Maintain thorough records and comply with all district and state documentation requirements Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment This contract role offers a chance to make a direct impact in the lives of children and families within a collaborative school community.
