Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology and passion for supporting students to a contract opportunity serving K-12 learners in the greater Prince Frederick area. This short-term assignment is ideal for an SLP holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and interested in Extended School Year (ESY) work. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8am to 12pm between June 29th and July 30th. You'll work with a diverse range of students, making a tangible difference during summer learning.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC certification and eligibility for Maryland licensure Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with ESY services and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and progress monitoring as required Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student success Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions Maintain clear and timely documentation of services provided Participate in team meetings and contribute to programming content This is an excellent opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a rewarding school-based role, supporting students' communication needs during the summer session.
