Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a dynamic school setting, where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a significant difference. This full-time role, beginning August 10th, 2026, and concluding June 17th, 2027, offers two unique caseload options: one early intervention position spanning 11 months and one position working with K-12 students. Preferred candidates demonstrate proficiency in school-based speech-language therapy and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Your expertise will help empower learners of all ages to reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active Maryland SLP license required CCC-SLP certification highly preferred Prior experience within school settings, particularly early intervention or K-12, is a plus Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities Passion for supporting students' speech, language, and social development
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation as required by state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and student planning sessions Provide both individual and group interventions tailored to student needs This contract offers a chance to work within a supportive educational community. The schedule is full-time, allowing for meaningful engagement with students and school staff throughout the academic year.
