Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC) seeking contract assignments in the Baltimore area. Support students' communication growth at various school sites, working among preschool, elementary, and middle school populations. Positions are itinerant and involve travel between multiple campuses, providing a stimulating and rewarding work environment.
Multiple assignments are available:
Two full-time roles (37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday) One part-time role (30 hours/week, Monday-Thursday; possibility for 5-day schedule if preferred) Start dates begin January 2026, with contracts running through May or June, and options to extend into Extended School Year (ESY) summer sessions. Candidates must have current MD professional licensure and be prepared to present proof of credentials.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Active Maryland licensure Experience in school-based settings, ideally with preschool, elementary, and/or middle school students Ability to provide direct and consultative services, including supervision of SLPAs for middle school caseloads Compliance with House Bill 486 (background check, fingerprinting, employment history review) Strong communication, flexibility, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to students in community preschool settings, elementary (PreK-5), and secondary (6-8) schools Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPA staff, especially at the secondary level Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Engage in multi-site service delivery, supporting students' diverse needs Enjoy competitive pay based on experience, supportive district collaboration, and potential contract extensions into summer.
