Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year at multiple school locations near Silver Spring, MD. You'll collaborate across various campuses, making a meaningful impact from August 10th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027. Share your expertise, adapt to diverse student populations, and foster communication success in an engaging, supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred Welcoming Clinical Fellows (CFYs) for onsite opportunities Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Ability to work onsite across multiple campus locations
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs across multiple school settings Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans to enhance communication skills Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student goals Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluation processes Implement intervention strategies that align with educational objectives Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings Perks of the
