Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a K-12 school setting located in Upper Marlboro, MD. The role centers on delivering specialized speech and language support to students, enabling them to achieve both academic success and improved communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student Providing both direct therapy and consultative services to students Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive support
Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLP License is required Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain it Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory Position details: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available to suit varying schedules Manage a K-12 student caseload On-site service delivery is essential for this role Working as an SLP in this position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives through expert communication support.
