Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within school settings. This role involves working with diverse student populations to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. The position is travel-based, located in Augusta, ME, offering the chance to engage with multiple educational environments and contribute to student development across different schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and clinical standards Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize intervention strategies
Qualifications:
Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in school-based speech therapy services preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently Willingness to travel between school sites within the Augusta, ME area
