Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an Extended School Year (ESY) position in Bucksport, ME, starting July 8. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide vital speech-language services to students in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students according to IEP goals Collaborating with teachers and staff to support students' communication needs Documenting student progress and participating in team meetings Conducting assessments when necessary to monitor growth and adjust therapy plans Ideal candidates will possess: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Experience working within school settings is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Ability to work onsite, maintaining a consistent presence during scheduled days This position requires availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite for the duration of the ESY program. Working in an educational setting allows you to make a meaningful difference in children's lives during a critical period for speech and language development.
