Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist in the beautiful Camden, ME area, with a full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary educational team, you'll deliver impactful speech and language support to students in a welcoming school environment. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and education professionals Ability to create individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Commitment to the full contract term during the 2026-2027 school year
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as assigned Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy individually and in group settings, adapting approaches to meet varied learning styles Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff to monitor and encourage student growth Serve as a support resource for educational staff around language development This fully in-person opportunity for the full academic year allows you to establish strong relationships with students and colleagues alike.
