Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students with elementary caseloads in an engaging educational setting. This full-time assignment runs from April 21, 2026, through July 15, 2027, covering all 183 instructional days of the 2026-2027 school year. Using your expertise in speech-language pathology, you'll make a meaningful difference in students' lives, collaborating with a dedicated school-based team while helping children achieve their communication and academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Maine Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy SLP settings preferred New SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as well as experienced practitioners welcomed Prior experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborating with teachers or parents a plus Candidates with SLPA oversight experience encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary-level students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special educators and other clinicians Maintain accurate records and document student progress, meeting compliance standards Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives Utilize technology for possible teletherapy or data tracking as needed What to
