Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant school setting near Fairfield, ME. This full-time position seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) to support K-12 students, with a primary focus on an elementary caseload. Apply your expertise in speech and language development to help children communicate confidently and reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLPs) Active state licensure for SLP or SLPA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience in pediatric, school, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Previous work with elementary-age children is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students in K-12, primarily elementary Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders Engage in data collection, progress monitoring, and timely reporting Offer support and resources to teachers and families for student success Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed Enjoy comprehensive benefits and the fulfillment of positively shaping young lives in the classroom.
