Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by applying your expertise in speech and language therapy. As an integral member of a school-based team, you will empower students to reach their full communicative potential while working alongside educators and multidisciplinary professionals. This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on supporting diverse learners near Gorham, ME.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Design, implement, and update tailored therapy plans based on individual goals Facilitate engaging therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication needs Track student progress meticulously, maintaining accurate documentation Cooperate closely with teachers, staff, and allied professionals for holistic student support Guide and educate families about strategies to encourage developmental progress at home
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly valued Experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations is preferred Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities Strong collaboration skills and the capability to work independently To be considered, you must hold an active state-approved license in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as a Master's (or higher) in the field.
