Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their fullest potential as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a supportive educational environment near Scarborough, ME. You will have the opportunity to make a profound difference for children with speech and language challenges, while developing your own expertise and building collaborative relationships with fellow professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to student needs Deliver engaging therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals Monitor, track, and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and support staff to coordinate and optimize care Educate families and empower them with strategies to reinforce goals outside the therapy setting
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience working with children in educational settings is beneficial Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a multidisciplinary team environment To be considered, you must hold or be eligible for a state-approved license in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a Master's degree or higher in the field.
