Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students—primarily elementary—near Waterville, ME! This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working alongside dedicated educators and supportive staff. Both SLPs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply, whether your experience is in schools, healthcare, or via teletherapy. New graduates and those completing their CFY are welcome, as are seasoned professionals with their CCC.
Skills & Experience Sought:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Eligibility for CFY, CCC, or SLPA certification as appropriate Experience in school or healthcare settings with pediatric populations is highly desired Comfortable developing and implementing therapy plans designed for K-12 students, especially at the elementary level Teletherapy experience is a plus, though not required Strong communicator, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and familiesCore Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, or communication disorders for students across grade levels Provide direct therapy services—individually or in small groups—to address students' needs Maintain accurate service documentation and participate in IEP development and meetings Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other support staff to promote whole-child learning Utilize evidence-based interventions and creative materials to engage young learners Support students' social-emotional and academic growth through effective communication strategies Enjoy a benefits package that supports your well-being, providing you with the resources to thrive professionally while maintaining work-life balance.
